Porcelain Laminate Technique is used when larger gaps need to be closed, and when the goal is to achieve a better gingival fit. Before the restoration, the dental impression is taken by the use of necessary minimal arrangements. Then, special laminated porcelains are produced by the ceramist with the help of this dental impression. These very thin porcelains are applied on the teeth with a specific adhesive system. This technique is always more successful than the aesthetic composite method. However, sometimes it needs etching from dental tissue to increase the resistance of this fragile material, and if it is broken it cannot be repaired.
